Can the K7L detect pure water?

Answer

Yes, it can. Even pure water with a resistance of 10 MΩ/cm or higher takes in a large amount of impurities when it leaks, which lowers its resistance to a point where it can be detected in most cases by using maximum sensitivity.

Detection is possible by setting the DIP switch to range 3 to allow detection from 0 to 50 MΩ.
