Question
The contacts occasionally open when they are
in contact. Why is this and what can be done about it?
Answer
Cause: The contacts
open because of vibration or shock.
Countermeasure: Replace the Switch
with a Switch that has greater contacting force (generally a Switch with a
large OFF).
